Q: What's a FAQ?
A: It stands for "Frequently Asked Questions", usually pronounced "fack". Some sites have a list of "Frequently UN-asked Questions", but we're family guys...
Q: Where did the band name come from?
A: A long and arduous process. Ever try and get six people to agree on anything? We threw out lots of names over the first year of our existence before settling on this.
Q: What other names did you consider?
A: We were somewhat hesitant to say, in case someone thought we'd picked the wrong name. Then again, some one will probably say that anyway, so...

Q: But, why SIX?
A: Well, when the name was chosen there were six of us. This FAQ used to state that "It might be a little silly to call the band 'Five'", and despite the fact that there are only five us at the moment, we still think it would be silly to call the band 'Five'. 'SIX' is much nicer - don't you think?.
Q: How long have you been together?
A: Go to the "History" page, and check it out.
Q: When are you guys going to play at (insert place name here)?
A: Check our schedule for upcoming gigs. If you want us to play elsewhere, maybe you'd like to set something up for us?
Q: Why don't you guys play more?
A: Well, we rehearse almost every week...
Q: Why don't you have more gigs?
A: We have day jobs, families, and other committements in our lives (and not necessarily in that order). But, we'd love to play more gigs - do you want to get us some?
Q: Do you guys do parties?
A: Sure! Feel free to contact us for more info. Rates are negotiable, and food/beer are a plus.
Q: What songs do you play?
A: Check out our current song list. We all individually know lots of various songs, but this list represents what collectively as a band we've rehearsed and can all play.
Q: Can you play (insert song name here) by (insert artist/band name here)?
A: If we're playing for your private party and you give us advance notice, maybe we can learn it for you. If you show up at our gig and request it, you have 3 options:
- Hope that we really know it and haven't updated our song list (not
likely).
- Write your request down, tape it to a $50 bill and hand it to us -
maybe we'll give it a shot.
- See if it it's on the jukebox and play it in-between our sets.
Q: Do you do any original songs?
A: Not at this time...
Q: Can I join you guys on stage for a song?
A: Are you planning on rehearsing with us too?
Q: Can I get my picture put on your site?
A: Take pictures at our gigs and email them to us. Tasteful photos might be posted on our publicity page. Tasteless ones will not (We're family guys, remember?)
Q: Does Walter really play all those guitars?
A: Not all at once, and not all at the same gig either.
